With the Fall semester beginning in about three weeks, it’s time to start familiarizing yourselves with the important material we have provided in our Fall in New York Admitted Students Page. In particular, you’ll need to review the Online Orientation and sign up for a Check-In session. Please review all dates, locations, and RSVP links below, and feel free to contact us at email@example.com if you are unsure which session(s) you need to attend.
Online Orientation: The Fall in NY Online Orientation is now available! Before hopping on a plane (or bus, or car, or subway…) we strongly encourage all visiting students to utilize this self-paced interactive slideshow. It will give you a better idea of what to expect from your semester at NYU. The orientation is best viewed in Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Access the Orientation here.
Check-In Session: All Fall in NY students are required to attend one of the check-in sessions. Choose from one of four dates and times we’ve made available for you. At check-in, we will cover the information you need to have a successful semester at NYU. You will also have a chance to ask any questions you have about the University or city and to meet your fellow Fall in New York students. Review all dates/times and RSVP Here!
International Student Check-In: A reminder for all International students that check-in with the Office of Global Services (OGS) is required by both NYU and the Department of Homeland Security. Review details and RSVP here.
CAS International Exchange Orientation: International Exchange students at the College of Arts and Sciences are required to attend Orientation with CAS Advisors on Sunday, August 30, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Silver Center, Room 909D (Zimmer Conference Room). Please see the International Exchange website for further information.
Welcome Week: Welcome Week will take place from Sunday, August 28 through Saturday September 3. Nearly 500 events and programs will be offered to introduce all new students to NYU life and culture. Fall in NY students are welcome to attend all events, especially those offered by Transfer Student Programs. Get a head start on the semester and RSVP for events here! Or, for added convenience, download the NYU Guide app!
Lastly, just a reminder: join our Fall in NY Facebook Group!
Again, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We hope you find this material helpful as you prepare for Fall in New York!
