Students may search for their course book lists and purchase new and used books at the Bookstore. The Bookstore is also a great place to stock up on NYU gear, souvenirs, and pleasure reading. More information about the Bookstore is online.
Course book search and price comparisons are available online. Not all professors use the NYU Bookstore to order their course reading list. All students must have a NYUCard. It grants you access to NYU buildings, resources, and services. Your NYUCard can also be used as a debit card with Campus Cash for dining and other services. We recommend students to get their card from the NYUCard Center prior to their first class, if possible, because lines can be long on the first day. All students must bring a valid photo ID to the Card Center when they get their cards.
Visiting students are asked to return their NYUCards to the Center when they complete Fall in NY. If you do not return your card and come back to NYU as a student at a later date, you will be assessed a $15 replacement fee for a new card. This replacement fee will increase to $25 as of June 1.
NYU Information Technology (NYU IT)
